Steve Bateman says he's after a centre-back. I have been visiting some club websites and noticed that Francis Duku has just been released by Kingstonian.He would be a good acquisition.He is 32 and has a wealth of non-league experience having played for Welling,Maidenhead,Gravesend,Bromley,Staines,Walton Casuals among others.Played 30 odd games last year.

Being that the ex-Slough player,Alan Dowson, is manager at Kingstonian,it's a pity that we haven't estabilished some links with managers with connections to our club,as this route could be beneficial to both parties.Given that in the last year,Ian Hazel,Steve Thompson and Brian McDermott have all been in managerial positions,if we are to progress 'Slough Town FC' again,I'm surprised we haven't exploited these channels yet.

as far as you know. I'm sure that many contacts with old rebels in manegerial positions are being are being kept open as it will be benificial to all parties especially at this time of the year.
