Three movie clips in there so far, an no links from other pages as yet, but you can now view Anthony Howard's goal against Hampton in the cup last season, Glen Harris's shot against Maidenhead, and Freddie Hyatt's goal against Aldershot Town last Friday.

Plenty more clips to follow throughout the season (isn't technology great!) with hopefully plenty of goals caught on camera.

The links is:

and links from other pages are being added during the week.

More good news Gary, as I probably won't be able to get to many games this year. Any chance of slimming down the filesizes though? 2.27Mb is just under 10 minutes to those of us in the middle of nowhere without broadband.

Cheers,

Roger

Hi Roger. The two larger files were taken with 'other' cameras. My new (and very expesnive ) camera has the option to change the size of the movie and hence the clip from the Maidenhead friendly is ten times smaller than the other two.

What I had found was when I did the larger movie size on the camera, it was again around 2MB's, so until I can find some suitable software to edit the clips, I'm afraid there's not much I can do. Even by zipping the files, due to their type, it makes minimal difference.

I'll keep searching and see what I can sort out.

Gary---I think you may be able to reduce file size by using a lower pixcel setting, but it will reduce the quality of the film---especially on medium range shots which is where you want to be aiming---I think.

Have several clips from last year that don't contain my feet---will give you a disk at Epsom if you are going---can't e-mail them as my server has a max file size of 1.0 MB

With my camera, you can alter the image quality of pictures but unfortunately not video. So a decent shot of a set piece will probably be 2MB every time... sorry about this. I'm more than willing to contribute videos and pics to the website whenever I can have Saturdays off from work !!!
