Saturday's Thanks

Wow, what a scorcher it was yesterday!!! And raising the temprature on the day was the BTSA, in the morning with a srong presence in the High St. and at the game, selling 50/50 tickets, at the shop and with Supporters membership and TJ's.

I would like to thank all that turned up in the Morning (if I name ya, I'm bound to leave someone out but you know who you are) and all those that helped before, during and after the match. Because of the heat, I think you all did well beyond the call of duty. Thank you (again).

And while we're at the thanks you's, I think we as supporters should also give a big hand to those who worked behind the bar, in front of the bar, around the club generally (that also includes Mr. Moore), and the playing staff. Work on match days is hard enough but in yesterdays heat, I think everyone put in effort to make it a successful and enjoyable afternoon. We all may have a difference of opinion at times but when it comes down to it, we all pull together for the success of the club.

Next week we start our campaign in the league. Lets make it a successful season for the club by continuing our co operation and hard work.

Once again, thanks,

Gary Clark (Gazza)

Vice Chairman BTSA

I would also like to echo my thanks for the great work that both the BTSA Committee and Main Club did on Saturday.

In temperatures touching 100 at times it was very unpleasant but the way people managed themselves and helped each other was a credit to the Club.

I like Gazza am not going to name people as they know who they are in the committee who gave there whole day up to promote and support there club both before during and after the game.

One person I would like to thank is Gazza for the exceptional work he did on the BBQ and thanks go to his parents for buying in the food.

Overall I feel a highly successful day was had in soaring temperatures.

Once again well done to one and all.

Andrew Turner

BTSA Chairman
