A Request of the C.C.L.League.

In this day and age of the Internet and evolving technology,where if you go to any site,regarding any matter,your first impressions is wow thats a great site,or it is not.Kingstonian F.C. for example is an excellent site,so is this site, all the latest up to date information that you need. Where as the C.C.L. Official site,which is our flagship,has latest news April 23rd Premier Cup Final at Ashford Town F.C. I have no idea of the cost or expertise needed to create a new site,but in my opinion it should be a priority for the upcoming year,because the standard of Football has improved,and therefore the public image of the League should improve also.First impressions are so important to any organization.Maybe the F.A have a grant for this sort of thing,or could advise,don't ask don't get my maxim.

wessex league website is updated every day with results, reports, up coming fixtures and is a very informative site.

 

Unfortunately it takes a dedicated volunteer to firstly design a website and then up date it every day. Smudge?? Fancy the job??

J.J. I would love too,but my knowledge of Computers is zero.Maybe I should take a course.But saying that many Sunday Football sites on Football mitoo are I believe updated by Teams,especially Results,Goalscorers.So how hard could the actual updating be,surely only a time thing, once the site is functional.Would gladly do the updating for free.

last I heard which I think was mentioned on here a couple of months back, the league were looking at using Pitchero for the official site.

whitelaw was going to mention the pitchero template at the last meeting. The good thing about the pitchero site is that if everyone updates their own scores it will show on the official one if set up. As mentioned though it takes a lot of time. It took me 2 hours every sunday just to update division one and reserve league fixtures and results
