Speaking on Radio 5 yesterday, BBC Creative Director Alan Yentob said: “I am disappointed, but we have been in these discussions for a very long time. Christine had said long ago that she wanted to stay, and people were waiting including Chris Evans.”

 

We think the way Christine handled the whole process and the way in which she dumped her manager last month says a lot about the type of person she is. She obviously has next to no manners or sense of decency and is seriously lacking in backbone. The BBC are well rid in our opinion, we just hope ITV know what they have let themselves in for!

I used to know Christine, quite well actually, before she moved over the water etc, and the stuff written in the opening post is not a real reflection of her.

 

Now, maybe she has changed a bit, but she used to be great craic, and we all had a laugh hanging out with each other. In regard to Lampard.. I thought that he and the missus had split up for nearly a year before Lampard and Christine got together?

I see that Christine Bleakley is being sued for some 300k by her former agent, John Noel, who is claiming a share of her earnings since moving from BBC to ITV. Christine unceremoniously sacked Noel by text who was responsible for finding her six years ago working on regional tv in Northern Ireland and masterminded the start of her illustrious career on the One Show. Noel claims their contract, which she ended on 3 June, had a two month notice period and she owes him commission for up to two years on the lucrative ITV deal she signed later that month to co-present Daybreak with Adrian Chiles. It would appear that the couple fell out over ambitious Christine's decision to join ITV, Noel was keen for her to pace herself and remain with the BBC and help front their Olympic coverage in 2012.

How do we think Christine did then folks hosting Dancing On Ice, I thought she was pretty wooden throughout and was upstaged by the amazing Katarina Witt which can't have pleased her.
