Reason why I left

I just thought I'd clarify the reason why I left Windsor&Eton as I've been reading the forum about the players' wages where my departure from the club has come up as well! So I thought I'd clarify that the main reason why I've left the club and football is because I am planning to start a 4 year part-time degree course in Traditional Acupuncture (Chinese Medicine). The course I have chosen is on a week-end and more precisely 2 full week-ends per month (even though in October I'll be at college every week-end!!!). It's something I have been wanting to do for a long time and I finally made that decision. Of course I will still be working for the British Canoe & Kayak team but as with all contract work you never know if your contract will be renewed or not, even though I'd like to think that they'll keep me working for them at least until 2012! But I can assure you - unless you know more than I do - that nothing is guaranteed on that side! So as you can see, I am mainly thinking of my future career as a a therapist... I certainly won't be able to inflict lots of physical pain with my Sports Therapy when I'm much older which is why I chose acupuncture... hoping I won't get the shakes and miss the points I need to needle completely :-0 !!! One final thing, I have really enjoyed working at the club and this last season has been the best with the promotion! I think we had the best team and management ever and I wish the new management and team all the best for the next season! I will pop down to watch the odd game when I can... so I'll catch up with you - supporters - soon!

Ange, you will be hugely missed, I think I speak on behalf of all supporters that you've given a number of years of loyal service that we all deeply appreciate! All the very best and we all look forward to seeing you down at games!
