Also Craig O'Connor has resigned.

Yeah good news the 95% of the squad seem to have agreed to a return. Only ones defintely set to leave seem to be Tommy Hayes, Robbie Kean and Paul Edgeworth. This squad will be much better having had a season together playing at Slough. As many said at the end of the Chesham game the side needed 'tweaking' rather than wholesale changesand that seems to be happening.

 

Seems that Hemel were after Danny Murphy and Sean Sonner, but both are returing to us. Seems we also missed out on the capture of Danny Burnell (Chesham striker who finished league top scorer 2 years back) but he joined Wealdstone. He would have been an ideal replacement should Elliot not return as we need a 25+ goal striker to replace his goals, having said that it seems it may not be clear-cut that Elliot will be leaving, lets hope he stays.

 

So far it seems we have agreed to bring in Craig O'Connor and Stuart Swift with 3 - 4 more to follow apparently.

Firstly, I didn't read it that Danny Murphy WILL be returning to us only that SB 'thinks he will'.

 

Also Chris, where have you gleened the information that it's 'not clear cut' that Buchanon will be leaving us and that there are 3 - 4 more players to follow?.

 

Not totally convinced about Craig O'connor's return to us but I'm sure if he plays like he did before he left us I will change my mind.

 

I must also mention that it seems like a return to the 'old days' when news about players signing/leaving reaches the newspapers before it reaches the forum. I thought that was going to be a thing of the past?

Well if I was a betting man I'd have a few quid on it. Craig is a good player and I'm sure he'll do ok for us again but I'd like him to prove me wrong that he doesn't get bored and bugger off again at the first opportunity.

the way england have played their last two games i think that we were better with our team two seasons ago and then look at where we ended up. absolutely deplorable cannot see what people see in the professional game, other than the wags of course, real pro's
