Grays In The Ryman Prem

Recommended Posts

just puts things into perspective reading about Grays and other teams that have fallen how lucky we are to still have a club to support. We have been through the 'grinder' with ground share's, debt, etc etc etc but have come out of it and with light at the end of the tunnel thanks to KP and the board and of course the supporters that have rallied round with not only financial support but voluntary contributions also. So roll on the start of the season debt free, good squad of players and manager, stability and hopefully continuity, not a lot of teams can say that for the season coming!

Indeed KP has done a fine job to keep Margate afloat, he's had his detractors but the current financial position has shown he's made the right decisions.

Perhaps if one of his biggest critics stood up & took the baton when he (KP) steps down, he'd find out how tough a job it is running a Non League Club.

How about it JJ ?

At what price for Messrs Piper & Page shares. 10p in the £? The Club has no assets, doesn't own it's ground, what would any investor be buying?

I think you'll see Mr Piper still "in charge" for some time yet.

Here's to a great 2010/11 season

Think JJ only gets his kicks out of slating the Margate Board.............he is all pi55 and wind.

He does not hide behind a pseudonym JJ as they are his initials. He will no doubt tell you himself who he is. I even think you may have talked to the Essex winger in the past.
