Slight concern

I read (in your thanet ) that IOC is looking to sign just one more player.

Does that leave the squad desperatley thin?

 

To me-need another central defender/full back, midfield player and striker as a minimum.

 

( i thought IOC was thinking similarly just a couple of weeks ago )

Of the 13 players otherwise signed-one is stubbbs (away for one third of league season ) and JK.Are there also injury concerns over tait and cloke as well ?

 

A squad of 12 just seems a bit thin ;even taking into account the reserves-albeit the better reserves fringe players have gone to ramsgate.

 

That given despite the concerns-its still better that way,than the club get into more financial problems so i guess we take it on the chin and let IOC get on with it.

Iain's comments could refer to 1 new player not at the club last season. There are a number not yet confirmed as signings who were at the club last season that could re-sign for the coming season and don't forget, we do need 16 players to complete a match day squad. Feel free to withdraw your slight concern Michael

The likes of Barnes,jones and young would be good,but from previous updates-implication is that at best only. one of those is possible.

 

Fully appreciate though that in the close season, everything is in a state of flux and i'm sure it will be all right.

I wonder how roberto corbishley is progressing towards full fitness ?

 

Maybe he would be able to prove his fitness to IOC in pre-season-and imo would be a valuable player being able to play/cover full back and right midfield-another case of two for the price of one.
