With the 2010/11 season getting closer and closer and various clubs with new management and ambitions! who does everyone think will be favourites and fighting it out at the top of the league?

With Knaphill now be denied promotion for certain to the prem, if they keep the same team as last year should surely be one of the favourites? will cobham push for promotion this season with new management at the the helm?

Who are Hayes Gate? what league have they come from? Staines is a good shout as they are always there at the top. Are they able to get promoted if they finish in the top 3 next season?

 

 

 

I BELIEVE STAINES LAMMAS ARE GROUNDSHARING WITH ASHFORD (MIDDX) THIS COMING SEASON, SO IF THEY ARE TOP OR THEREABOUTS THEY SHOULD BE PROMOTED TO CCL PREM, BUT WHO KNOWS WITH ALL THE GROUNSHARE HAPPENINGS DURING THIS CLOSE SEASON !

Going to have to be the same as last year

 

Staines

Hartley

Cobham

WP

Knaphill

 

Im sure there will be one or two suprises - South Park seemed to finish strong last season so if they have improved they could be in with a shout. Farnham, Bedfont Sports.... the list keeps growing - think it will be a very competitive league next year.

I believe it will a more competitive league this year, and even last year the teams at the bottom were beating teams at the top so at least there shouldnt be any runaway teams this season coming. So you reckon Hartley will get promoted this season then brunty?

As good a chance as any. New manager coming in so see what happens.. Id still expect Hartley to have a strong team this year,

I would say Staines, Knaphill and Hartley if they stop getting unlucky :smilewinkgrin: . Also would like to think we could improve on our 6th last season.

Stringing 6 or 7 wins together every now and then will be tough but thats what its going to need to win this league, also a big strong squad 1st team sqaud with a decent reserve side.......Hopefully 3 will be able to go up and 3 Prem teams relegated......When was the last time that happened?

Just an FYI Neville Roach has taken over as manager of Hartley -its a good club to be at - nice people and good facilities. I cant speak for the others but I joined Hartley as i had known Pete Gray for many years and was offered to be captain. thought it would be a new challenge as had been in CCL prem and bit higher for quite a few years. I havent decided where ill be playing this season - mostly its going to be down to where im living as could be moving house. Have had some nice offers from clubs so will see.

Cobham will be stronger this season. You never know how good compared to everyone else until the season actually starts. Every team will change. I believe we will challenge and challenge will with a little pressure off all of our youngsters (including mine) shoulders. Knaphill will challenge and will get better. Have Worcester Park lost most of their players? Hartley will challenge as they did last year as will Frimley under new management. Really though it's anybody's guess.

 

This year with Coulsdon rebuilding (if they stay up) there will be no easy games. Anybody can beat anybody and thats what will make it so much fun to play in!!!

Also while i'm at it teams who aren't able to go up are not doing anything for this league except blocking. These teams really should get up to standard or the league should promote the top 3 teams who CAN go up if they want to keep the league as it is as they should.
