A new stand at Seaford

Recommended Posts

Following the installation of fantastic floodlights at the Crouch a new 100 seater plus stand is under construction. It is hoped that the ground will soon be of a standard to allow the new management team to take Seaford Town into Division One of the County League. dance%20(2).gif

Maybe another ground for me to have a look at at the end of the week.

Off to Peacehaven tomorrow, now

Will do.

I don't know exactly what our plans are yet for the four days that we are down at Peacehaven. It'll all depend on our host, as he'll be driving. unless we all use our bus-passes !

I understand that there is a nice new bus lane between Newhaven and Brighton Marina,so that might be your best bet..

You're right about the bus-lane.

Didn't get to Seahaven but viewed Peacehaven FC from a distance. Looks OK. Lucky the water people are putting in that huge water treatment system in next door to the ground. It's reckoned that if the workmen hadn't got to the fire, all could have been lost.

Feckin' kids !

Yes We had a great time.

Did a 'dodgy' pub in Newhaven, but didn't get over to Seaford.

Can't say the names ring any bells.

I reckon it still is. Very friendly staff there now. The landlord is a hoot ! Me and my mate were made very welcome.
