Recommended Posts

Hi ....All

Hope we are all well and looking forward to the new season, with this in mind ..maybe we can meet at Beaconsfield SYOB this

Saturday about 12noon 19th June 2010,

to see how things are going and to assess what needs to be down to help ourselves and Beaconsfield ..during the closed season....

I hope a few will turn up to help this season , maybe we can look into making a covered area at the far end, who knows what we can do..this in turn will help our supporters too...

hope to see a few more this year....cheers chris s

Chris,

Do you want as many as possible to turn up Saturday or just a few because no actual work will be done just a preliminary assessment?

I have Aidan on decorating duty for the next couple of weeks, so if he works hard and manages to get things finished we might be able to get up Chris.

Will definately be up the week before kick off though to clean the shop and get rid of any horrible little creatures that may have taken root in there.

Warren I dont mean you!!

Dont worry Chris, at the end of the last home game, i empted loads of maggots into the club shop, knowing that the emerging flies will attract Sue's favouite hairy eight legged creatures for a fly feast and make them set up home in the shop.

It also now an offence under the Insect Protection Act regulation 2010 section 28b to wilfully damage a spiders web.

Honest.

You little git Warren, now you know why I pick on him Chris!!

I know you are lying about the maggots but you had better be lying about the spiders web as well because believe me if not, Aidan wil be spending a lot of time being arrested!!

Anyway nice to know you are ok Warren

I went to the club last night and was amazed at the improvement of the pitch, the whole pitch is covered in grass, all be it thin in some places. Sprinklers were on and the grass is obviously growing very quickly as last week it didnt look anything like it does now. I'm sure you will be impressed with the pitch when you go to the ground on Saturday.
