Seems a reasonable selection and mix.

 

I guess ideally i'd like to have seen one more against a team of higher status in addition to the Dover fixture, but in old age, whilst i'll try and see a couple of them; i get increasingly cynical as to the true value of psf's;but what do i know.

 

main thing is to steer injury free

I think there's always a balance to be struck by getting in early enough (which we haven't) to arrange what is really a pretty pointless high profile friendly against a top club's second or third string to make some money, versus a pre-season prgramme against sides roughly around your own level which makes for better preparation for the league season ahead. I think our friendlies are certainly in the latter camp.

I wonder who -and if-the fixture will be against on 27th July.

 

Notwithstanding that they don't yet have any players-it seems that Ebbsfleet are in need of someone to play with ,and might prove reasonable opposition
