Now I'm not a fan of smoking, so when I witness what I did yesterday I really had to restrain myself from calling this person a dirty rotten smelly and silly [****!!****]!

 

Walking passed Lloyds on the way to Fenchurch St Station when stupid pigman dropped his cigarette. What did he do? Stub it out and curse as he lit up another? Think 'this is a sign' and throw the rest of them away? Stub it out and throw the offending but away (yeah like that's ever going to happen)?

 

No.

 

I'll tell you what stupid pigman did. After rolling his eyes and gazing at it for a couple of seconds, stupid pigman picked it up off the filthy dirty ground that has countless germs on and put it back in his stupid pigmouth!!! He was lucky, as had I been on his side of the road I'd have given him a slap!

 

I mean, HELLO!!!!!! What did your mother teach you!?!? Would you do that if it were a sweet? A sandwich?

 

God that was a horrible thing to witness.

Addicts. Sorry, mate , but smokers are addicts, addicts who impose their addiction on anyone in the immediate vicinity. I like pubs. I socialise there, play darts there, have a drop of real ale there. However, I am forced to accept that if I go into that environment, I will be infected by the by-product of your addiction, ie. smoke. Smoke that enters my lungs, increases my chance of getting cancer, makes my clothes smell. Fags are bloody expensive, I believe, so there's no wonder the addict LMU saw was trying to get his fag nice & clean so he could stick it in his deseased gob for one more nicotine fix!

 

In reality, I'm actually a very tolerant ex-smoker, (yes, I AM holier than thou!) who just likes winding people up!

I am not getting drawn into this argument, other than to say,

 

Yes, 'Er Indoors and I both smoke !

 

If we go into premises or houses of NON smokers, we would NEVER consider lighting up. On the other hand, visitors to our house would have to tolerate us smoking if we wished too.

 

Interesting point on proposed legislation to ban smoking in public places:-

 

IF you had a blanket ban on smoking in sections of pubs, the smoking element who use these establishments would buy drinkies from off-licences and congregate at friends houses for 'parties'

 

RESULT: Down-turn of approx 35% of custom.

 

NETT RESULT: Even MORE good pubs will close.

 

Decent pubs are struggling now to make a living.

Why do I hate London so much now ?????

 

I object to breathing in massive doses of lead and carbon monoxide, sulphur and the like from badly maintained and usually, stationary cars, buses and taxi's !

if a publican wants a non smoking boozer go fo rit.. i think there would be a demand especially from people trying to give up.. personally i think fag smoke is an integral part of any good boozer..

it will be banned tho to prevent staff sueing the brewerys and publicans for millions inevitable im afraid..

I once went to dinner at a 'new neighbours' house and as I walked in he asked me not to smoke...as I immediately walked out he said....

I never bothered answering...its all about the right to do as you please....

 

and also the right for others likewise...

 

I will not go to a restaurant that has a no smoking policy and I never will...I won't stay in a hotel that does likewise..I never will...

 

I wouldn't have anything to do with a bird that dont smoke...

 

(they're usually veggies and dont drink either)

 

I'll tell you a story about that some other time....
