Indeed. Managed AFC Wimbledon when they beat us 9-0 has a wealth of experience. Most recently managed Northwood where he had Chris Seeby playing under him. Think he also had something to do with Windsor.

More to follow on the official site later, but people are at work at the mo.

Every Windsor fan who speaks of him only has good words to say. Could really see how he improved us during his short spell as assistant to Simon Lane. He actually talks about him getting back into the game on the non league radio show podcast where he is a guest most weeks.

I would of been happy with him replacing Keith Scott! Good move for you lot. Wonder if it will be the same sort of deal he had at windsor where he stays until he finds a managers job he wants.

Seems Paul Coyne is also interested in joining us which is good news. Shows we must be doing things right:

If the article is worded accurately what it says to me is that he'll join us if gets offered a few quid not because he specifically wants to be a Rebel. If that's his attitude I'd rather not have him, good player or not.

I'd read that differently to you Ian he mentions a 'good deal' but that does not necessarily mean financially. I read it in terms of a good deal from a bigger club i'd say that's the angle Paul is coming from.

Not sure about this "bigger club" thing, we clearly aren't at the moment, historically we have been. I can't see that we can afford to pay massively more than most so players would have to want to come to us because of the potential that we might be a bigger club again.
