went once when i was at that school and it was crap!

thanks for your school memories, but i was hopeing for a more positive reply from a committee member of the supporters club as to if you are coming to the school for a PA execise, i really do feel that it's pretty bad that nobody has contacted me especially as one of your former members knew about this event as far back as last september....

Hi Mark here - Mike and I have arranged to go to Scotts Primary School in Hx as they are hosting The Linda Galloway Trophy ( a Havering girls football competition with over 12 local schools participating) on that day ie 26 th June to do a Beat The Goalie game and to promote the club.

I have cleared this with the headmaster and Mike is arranging the goalie , goal etc

The other 2 school events which I believe Mike was finalising were Oglethorpe School on 3 July and Potentially either Langtons or The Bell.

well it's nice to know you are not coming, it's only taken you 10 months to decide this, now considering i approached digger the cat back in september of last year and that it has been mentioned at several of your committee meetings by another former member, ( which i asked them to do) yet still nobody came back to me. now you would of thought that seeing as the school is only a stones throw away from the ground you could have put yourself out, let me give you some advice if you want to get involved in the local community this is not the right way to go about it......

Apologies for any mix up regarding gaynes, certain schools were discussed a while ago and we decided to go with the junior schools as we felt these were our best areas to target, sorry it appears you wasn't notified, seems there was a bit of a mix up.all the members of the comittee are on there to help the club, every one has a full time job and put in there stint on matchdays.we don't go around with the purpose of alienating people on purpose

I'm sorry for any communications breakdown.

For someone relatively new to the committee I find the view re not going to Gaynes negative and unhelpful. After working all week some of us are prepared to give up a summer Saturday to support/promote the club to multiple schools in a location in Hornchurch. Indeed, there is nothing stopping others/you going to Gaynes on the same day to promote the club particullarly if you feel so passionately about it.

Hi rob, i do not intend getting into a slanging match about this, all i will say is before your suppoters club were doing anything to get involved in the community i was the one who came to you and suggested you get involved with local schools and it was digger who wanted to come along but after my inital email detailing everything about the day i had no reply from anyone and regarding me going along yes i am as i am involved with the Gaynes PA, and i would just like to say that for all the seasons i worked for the club on a voluntary basis where were all of you, before you start slagging people down take a look at yourself, you must of heard the saying people living in glasshouses......

Tony, plenty of people on the comittee have helped out at the club for years,I myself used to help out on the gate with you but stopped doing so after a spat with the owners.it seems that you got the hump after annies comment,to be honest although gaynes was mentioned nothing was confirmed.anyway, what matters is now and trying to help the club now not 5 years ago when things were looking like Football league status
