You are right AFC are not the real Wimbledon.

We are not the real Enfield and neither is the digitally challenged.

However I beleive that most of the supporters who were following EFC in the 60's, 70's and 80's, which in my view were the best times, have come to follow ETFC. Further I also consider that a football club is its fans if it is anything. Players demonstrate time and again that they have little loyalty for a club -there are a few exceptions- , managers come and go but the fan stays forever. Therefore I am happy to state that ETFC carries the spirit of EFC if nothing else and I am sure that you agree with me.

TBH Steph, no, I don't think ETFC carries the spirit of EFC. Maybe at the start? Possibly. However, many ETFC fans were not EFC fans and I feel that ETFC has its own unique spirit, unlike AFC who still seem to not be able to accept that they are a new club creating a new history.

...but AFC are not the real club either. The same way we are not the real Enfield FC (dearly departed) nor are the 1893 rabble.

Thats not very nice chummy . Tut tut tut .

jsut seen that you support Mk Dons, and not AFC Wimbledon. That says it all really.

Now then Chummy thats not a very bright statement is it ?

So you reside on the other side of middlesex do you ? So why not watch a proper team like Brentford ? Or if you have to do the non league thing try Ashford Town or Hampton , But if your really sad try Hillingdon , Wembley or Kingsbury Tigers , Or if your an extreme sad case(which I believe is the case here) try Bedfont .

or it could be that i moved but still support my home town club. are you the only old wimbledon fan that defected to follow them in Milton keynes? whats your reason for not supporting AFC?

No I/m not the only one . You just go where your heart is chummy , And BTW its a free country and we do have freedom of choice .
