Travel distances

Latest table is out at Mike Avery's excellent site.

 

We're up at position 164, total of 3739 miles to travel this coming season.

And if we're promoted , we can expect to see similar distances to Staines, Woking or Hampton/Richmond... somewhere around 2300 miles total.

I think the top half of the southern premier are probably better than the bottom half of conference south, just hard to get out of. And the wage bill starts to get a bit ridiculous.

I would say a top half finish next season would be a good performance, I would doubt there will be teams much better than the top six or seven teams in the league we just left in the bottom half of the premier so definitely a possibility. We will more than likely lose a few players, we always do, but the core of the squad was strong and will probably remain so.

I personally would like a solid stoical performance in the league and a decent cup run in the FA Cup, haven't had one for years so about time. I mean we've won a cup, won a league now how about a bit of FA Cup glory and the finances that go along with it.
