That's a shame,Michael Chennells has signed up for Windsor again[9/6/2010] . I was hoping that the change of management may have put him off and that he may have ended up playing for Slough next season,especially as Steve Bateman said he's looking for a 20 goal + striker and he certainly fits that criteria.

Don't think he was likely ever to join us.

 

He has just got promoted and is a decent talent so would only look towards playing at a higher level. Perhaps if we had got promoted, but you don't know.

Wasn't Keith Scott always banging on about Chennells being too good for this kind of level and being amazed that a league club hadn't snapped him up? If that's true, then why is he still at Windsor?

 

I'd always assumed (perhaps wrongly, but who knows) that he was one of Windsor's highest earners, so with the budget issues they had toward the back end of last season, I'm maybe a little surprised he's signed on for Windsor again. But, as his record clearly shows, he delivers goals and Windsor need to keep players like him for the step up.
