Pub after work...

Okay people, put your thinking caps on...

 

I need a pub to go to after work, that fits the following criteria...

• Must be within half hour walk from both Fleetville and Porter's Wood
• Must have beer garden
• Mustn't be too packed (I hate busy town pubs and I want to be able to sit down)
• Mustn't be a shïtty estate pub
• Cloudy cider preferred but not essential

What do we reckon, people??

Zeal, what does it matter if a pub is a bit busy? I can understand your aversion to the cross keys when its so packed you can't move. But a few extra people in the Blackie's isn't exactly going to ruin your evening - is it?

It is if a) I can't get a seat, and I can't get served immediately.

 

We have fking hundreds of pubs in St Albans. Surely it's not asking too much to get served when you're at the bar.

 

And busy pubs means it's normally full of students or tossers. Or both. I don't want that when I go out.
