I was thinking of going if only to hurl some abuse at Steve Browne and see how many times Scott Fitzgerald could leave Ricky on his ar*e!

 

But as it's only a Watford reserve team and Gary gave me a load of abuse for going to see them play at Northwood I thought better of it!

Mr Browne's new team lost 2-1 tonight to Watford reserves making it 5 defeats in 7. The girl on the phone did tell me the scorer whose name I've forgotten although it wasn't one of our former lot.

So nice to see the Wood showing such consistency. It's everything they deserve!

So does Browne just get bad players or does he train them up to be useless as a team?

What about writing to Chelsea's new owner and asking him to take over STFC as well? He buys potential bench warmers for the sort of cash that would get the Rebs a stadium, proper club management and a decent squad.

Will undoubtedly start the season as favourites and with new manager Steve Browne in charge, few would disagree. Especially with his summer signings such as Byron Bubb and Sammy Winston from Slough Town. On paper they should go up, but will they have the temperament.
