I was listening to this on the Radio on Monday evening.

 

The bank involved have until 3pm today (Tuesday) to agree with the consortium. Currently the bank have the ground and are after a chunk of future club profits as well, which is the sticking point.

 

If there is no agreement at 3pm, players will then be sold to pay debts and the current workforce's wages for May, the administrator will then also walk away and the club will have to start the wind up process, as they will not have any of their best players, or a ground.

 

It's a complete mess, due to the current owner defaulting on monthly payments, resulting in the bank taking the ground as collateral as per the clause written in the contract.
