Hemel given reprieve

Be interesting to see how this happened considering all four 'relegated' Ryman Premier sides got to the 40+ point barrier, and Hemel only got 34 points last season. The season we were reprieved from relegation it worked on this basis. Fair play to them though.

 

Anyhow, kind of good news for us as they were expected to bring in some good players this season and would have been challenging, so that's one less to worry about I guess.

 

Dunno if this also means Aylesbury United will get a reprieve. Blimey that could be confusing with Aylesbury and Aylesbury United next season!

Hmmm, having a look around seems Eastbourne Town have also been reprieved and are Ryman bound, so not at all sure who takes Hemels place in our league!

Turns out Northwood will be our new opponents this season after a bit of a re-jig.

 

Apparently Ashford Town MX rejected the chance of staying up which is why Hemel stay up.

Personally, I'm not sure Hemel would have been in with a shout. Last years Hemel team were pretty poor so Colin Payne will practically have to build a new team. I think Northwood will be harder to beat than Hemel.
