Well done on promotion.

At least it wasn't romford or grays who won

Daggers swap places with Southend Utd, who'd have thought????

Let's face it,while dagenham are obviously a local rival, they are that far removed nowadays in playing terms our rivalry just extends to friendly rivalry in the darts games,as for playing them that will just be fantasy if we get drawn in the fa cup against them and a bit of the needle may return, apart from that we will just have to get used to maybe drawing them in theessex senior cup every now and then,a cup we done better than in last season ha ha

Romford, grays and Chelmsford are the 3 clubs I hate anyway,w@nkers

My problem with Southend is violence.

You take your wife and kids, it is the last thing you need.

southend have been praised and recived awards for being the most family freindly team in league one for last few years after away matches ploice reports always say southend best behaved fans that visited, like the last match of the season when the southends fans coaches were clapped , along the streets out of southampton by the saints fans ...... only trouble last season reported during home matches was some aways fans on the seafront fighting west ham mockney fans , last trouble at away match was season before last when orient fans bricked the southend players coach after the match ..... if anyone comes to a match at roots hall or the new stadium which will be starting to be built this month , trouble is the last thing they will see , the crowd maybe quite with so many familes now attending games , it has even got to the stage where in the last 2 home saturday games we shared the north stand with away fans and no trouble reported what so ever and this will carrying on this season sharing north stand with away fans ,

You must go to a different ground to me.

I've not missed a Southend v Orient game for the last 15 seasons.

Always had grief from Southend fans who sit next to the away end.

Even walking down the seafront on non match days wearing an Orient shirt is not very nice.

They even threatened my wife once.

Big of them considering their was 15-20 of them.

There's a small minority who seem to fancy themselves as a bit of a firm.

We've had a few problems with Southend down the years at our pre season friendlies. Believe there was a few looking for aggro last season at our place and the year before that and always seem to be a few who come down and slag our ground off and genuinely look down their noses at us.

Saying that, most of their fans are decent people.
