I am certain that Eddie would not wish to say anything that could be construed as criticism of the previous Manager. However, I would be interested in understanding why so many players have been brought in to the Club and lots of them have lost form considerably (Byron Bubb, Leon Townley in particular), whilst at Slough. Also why have players such as Derek Asamoah, Marcus richardson, and possibly Tony Boot gone on to better things with no money swelling the Slough Town coffers?

Anonymous, I think those questions would be better posed at the management of the club rather than the manager of the footballing side of things....

 

Dom, some questions I would like you to put to Eddie.

 

Given the high number of turnover in players again this summer, how soon does he expect to have the players playing as an understanding unit amongst one another?

 

What will he view as a successful season?

 

What aspirations does he have for the current side?

 

What position does he hope the side will be in next season?

 

What does he make of all the restructuring going on?

Does he believe he will be the next manager of Slough Town or is he going to continue on an ad-hoc basis?

Are the club going to make any attempts to bring Veli back to Slough?

 

Does he anticipate being able to strengthen the squad and if so, in what areas?

Good luck with the interview, Dom. It'll be interesting to hear what Eddie has to say although the fact that he's willing to talk to the supporters at all rather than slag them off puts him ahead of his predecessor in many respects.

Just a quick note to say that i thought the interview with eddie was a great idea and more interviews like it would be really good for the fans to know whats going on at the club. also a great idea to ask other fans what they want asked. Maybe an interview with steve daly would be good and traditional! but another with eddie would be nice. Maybe we could have one with andy and ask him about his football career!!
