Edward VII was the first English King of the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha lineage (Queen Victoria married her cousin Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and Edward was the eldest son)

Edward's son King George V also bore the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha surname until he chose to be renamed "Windsor" (after the castle) in the First World War - the German moniker being so "inconvenient" !

 

Technically (pedantically !) thereby there have been actually two reigning monarchs holding this surname in England !
