New question:

What was the name of the craft used by John Glenn when he became the first man to orbit the earth?

RE: The three kings.

I don't usually come on this thread, but as 32 un read today, curious.

For you AFF.

We three kings of Orient are;

Bearing gifts we traverse afar,

Field and fountain, moor and mountain,

Following yonder star.

Refrain

O star of wonder, star of light,

Star with royal beauty bright,

Westward leading, still proceeding,

Guide us to thy perfect light.

Born a King on Bethlehem’s plain

Gold I bring to crown Him again,

King forever, ceasing never,

Over us all to reign.

Refrain

Frankincense to offer have I;

Incense owns a Deity nigh;

Prayer and praising, voices raising,

Worshipping God on high.

Refrain

Myrrh is mine, its bitter perfume

Breathes a life of gathering gloom;

Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying,

Sealed in the stone cold tomb.

Refrain

Glorious now behold Him arise;

King and God and sacrifice;

Alleluia, Alleluia,

Sounds through the earth and skies.

Refrain

Err...Yes Mark. Very good. "We three kings". The well known Christmas carol. Excellent, old chap. Very good indeed. Thanks for that contribution.

However. It's not quite the answer to the question "In what year did England last have three kings?". That question was correctly answered by Mr Holden. 1936. He then asked another question.

The idea of this thread is that a question is asked and then the person what correctly answers it, asks another. Are you following this Mark?

We have now moved on to the question "Which two Conference clubs each play at 'York Road?', Mark. Your answer "The well known Christmas carol 'We Three Kings', isn't the correct answer to that question either. In fact no other christmas carol is the correct answer to it. Think about it for a moment. The answer is going to be two Conference football clubs [who each play at York Road].

Glad to see you taking an interest, Mark.

Huge.

Hi Rob.

Nuneaton Borough play at The Manor Ground, Beaumont Road, Nuneaton. However, Maidenhead United do, indeed, play at York Road, Maidenhead.

You have correctly identified one of the two clubs who play at York Road, Rob, but 50% is not good enough in this school. Which other Conference club plays at York Road?

[No Christmas carols, please.]

I don't think their ground is actually called York Road, unlike Maidenhead's, but I think St. Albans' ground is off York Road. So St. Albans?

Hi Mark. Err.... Nope. Not Scarborough.

Hi Martin. St Albans City do, indeed, play at Fortress Clarence Park, which is, indeed, in York Road, St Albans. Correctemundo. [On this occasion, we'll overlook your omission of 'CITY'.]

Over to you.

Apologies. Of course I meant to say City and what a fine city it is to.

New question then:

What was the name of the first woman to win an Olympic medal and in which sport?
