Veli's Posting Before His Court Appearance

 

"I would just like to say thank you to everyone at Slough Town before my court appearance tomorrow since sighning for Slough I have played with quality players and have been coached by quality coaches this year with the gaffer Eddy and Gilksy and the current squad trust me Slough are going to achieve things this season i am writing this because im not going to have the chance to see anyone and am saddened that i wont be a part of the good things to come this season I cant forget the likes of Roy m and Martin d who have been excellent since all this has happened also you fans have been great you come in your numbers and are friendly when i speak to you all and are the best fans i have played for even though duwlich are the only other club ive been at it has been hard to write this as i am trying to be brave for tommorow but am holding back tears while writing this slough have made me a better player and steve should take all credit for the squad he has built this year because i cant thank him enough for bringing me to this great club so all of you who read this web site let everyone know whether its players, coaching staff or other fans that dont read it thank you and sorry for letting you down good luck veli hakki#6"

 

Just because Steve Browne asked him to play for Borehamwood doesn't make him a bad person. We do want him back, and at the same time we must appreciate that whilst the club & the fans stood by him, so did the manager then Steve Browne. It's up to Veli to decide, and I hope he can make the right decision and come back to wear the amber and blue again.

What do you reckon to another Monday outside the Town Hall to demand the safe return of Veli to Slough?! If I thought it would make any difference I'd be there in a second.
