Fans Forum Fundraising

After the successful fundraising for the sponsored shirts, some people asked me if we were going to do the same for next season.

 

Now that things have settled down after the ups and downs of last season, and it appears that IOC is working hard already to bring in new players, I am asking if people are willing to part with their well earned cash again to raise money for the club.

 

I am willing to organise the fundraising and collect money from people and then pass it onto the club.

 

I am not asking people for a set amount, but an amount that you can afford. However if 30 people pledge just £10.00 each we will reach the target for the prize draw. But with 3 months to go, if people want to spread the cost, they could pledge a set amount a month.

 

All donations are welcome whether you pay once or over a set period. Please post on here your feelings or if you want to donate PM me for my address.

 

This is a good opportunity for a fans to contribute to the club without paying out a large amount for sponsorship. I also know that that Cliff Egan was very appreciative about the amount raised last season and it got a good mention at the end of season presentations.

Quiet over the last few days but recieved the first cheque yesterday.

OK, with the recent fundraising draw now over there are still a lot of players shirts to sponsor. I am again appealing to anybody who wants to donate any amount of money to the fans forum fundraising. I have recieved three contributions so far, nearly enough to sponsor one shirt. We had a great response last year with about 15 people donating, enabling us to sponsor 4 players which was very much appreciated by the club.

 

This allows individuals to contribute an affordable amount to the club, with a chance of winning one of the shirts at the end of the season. It doesn't matter how much, or how little you contribute, every penny counts. The amount that you send will not be published, this is all about donating what you can afford.

To all those people who have said they will contribute to this seasons fundraising, I have contacted Wellsie and he thinks the money would be better used on shirt sponsorship, as he has recieved contributions to gate radio already. Therfore we will go back to plan A. Those of you who have offered a donation (and you know who you are) could you send the money to me at my home address, posted above, or you can give it to me in person at Croydon. I do not know when I will be attending a home match, but I hope it will be the Maidstone match next Monday. We are a few people down on last season as others have already sponsored the club in another capacity, but I am hoping we can sponsor two players.
