In other very good news in the full paper version of that story Bates mentions Adam Martin is off to play football in Ireland for the summer, but is very hopeful of getting him back after that period.

Would be great to have Adam Martin as the lynch pin in the middle of the park.

 

I'm only guessing but I think when he gets back from Ireland he will see what sort of squad SB has assembled and then decide wether to sign or not.

we are very much in business if we could possibly sign Adam Martin. the guy is easily capable of playing higher though so won't get too excited quite yet at least

 

as for Flackwell it once again would make good sense to play them and again not really all that far away either

I would like to think there ground will be fit this time unlike last pre-season when we had to play at Wycombe on an artificial surface!

Just looked on the Flackwell Heath web-site and it seems the friendly on Tuesday the 27th July is definitely on.
