What would you rather have next season ?

Given a choice-what would you rather have ?

 

A new north stand and associated complex completed by say Feb 2011 (with mid table in the league)

 

or

 

Play-offs and promotion.

 

personally, i would take the former.

Get the infrastructure right first,steady income coming in ,and then promotion in 2011/12.

 

I never see the point of 'reaching the play-offs'.You either get promoted or not-play-offs in isolation are nothing-unless you win them.

Just feel the club is not ready for the massive expense-travelling/wages of conf. south for another 2 years.

 

Get the stand built, let CE contijnue his good work, get better revenue streams and then win the league in 2011/12.

 

( i add a small caveat that whilst mid table in league is just fine, i do expect the club to win the Fa Trophy,League Cup and the FA Cup next season )

Your expectations are good but probably not thinking of maybe Champions league or maybe .........

My hopes for next season ....

 

1) More Wins than Losses

 

2) More goals Scored than Conceded

 

3) To be mathematically out of the bottom four 2-3 weeks before the end of the season.

 

4) The distraction of a good Cup run (with a bit of 'Giant Killing' as an added bonus).

 

Realistically .... Two out of those Four would be great.

Up the Gate roll on July and August.

Dont forget the development is Gary Lever so not really part of the team so for me got to be how the team plays and performs
