By the way, does this mean Gary Moulding is now George's assistant until the board bring in someone new?? Be interesting to know what Gary's role is in the new regime.

 

Still finding this very hard to believe, knowing how passionate Mick is about football and more so HFC, he ain't no quitter. Signing someone like John Keeling in the summer and then resigning after a successful weekend up north, just doesn't ring true of the man..............

Football is up there in the top 2 or 3 areas of life that produce role models for us all

In management terms the older generation of role models were the Bill Nicholson, Brian Clough, Matt Busby and Bill Shanks etc group

All capable of very tough decision making BUT none of whom would act outside of the best interests of the game they were so proud to represent

These were men at the very top of the profession and they gained outstanding success at the very top across Europe and yet none conned ref!s, none were accusable of violent management technique

I've just re-read that first message from 'roller' to which you took great exception. So any level of comment that is other than complimentary of your Officials is seriously frowned upon eh? At too many Non League football clubs this "you are either with us or aginst us" mentality prevails. Beware UU. Take that much further and you should have a couple of metres of sand delivered and piled outside the clubhouse. Handy for the good people of Hornchurch to put their

heads in.

I know nothing about the reasons behind your now ex managers departure and some might say it`s none of my business but it does seem if you dare to criticize the running of Hornchurch FC you run the risk of being banned from this forum. While these forums should not be used for personal attacks you should be able to put across your opinion without the fear of being banned. As you can see i don`t support your club but this is the second time i have seen this threat being used and i think it`s an abuse of power.

Unless you are one of the very select few who know fully the ins and outs of the situation I suggest you calm down.

 

In answer to other concerns expressed on this thread I would urge you to re-read the Non-League Community Standards. These guidelines are to protect the users, the forum moderators and the owners. I am not suggesting that anything on here is in breach of those guidelines but we have to be very careful that things do not get out of hand, especially in the case of accusations being made against individuals.

I think we know by now that you do not like the circumstances surrounding the resignation of Mick Marsden although you also obviously do not know the details. I'm also fairly certain that you are not prepared to accept any explanation other than the one you have already have formulated, whatever that may be.

 

You are entitled to your opinion but I think resorting to abuse is not going to endear you to anyone. Please stop.
