Yes I got the same impression, and that Grays were trying to steamroller their way into the Ryman, perhaps not following the correct procedures. By the sound of it, Alan Turvey is the sort of guy who follows procedures by the book.

there is an interesting piece on our forum,i would cut and paste it but i am off to bed.

It is from a local journalist,i believe it can also be found on the ricay forum,seems that grays haven't quite been honest with their fans and done things properly.
