Roughly about as strong/weak as last seasons league if you ask me.

For me it will be Hitchin, Burnham and oursleves challenging again.

But quite a few unknown's as well. Daventry would be one to watch as they beat a good St Neots side to win their league, same with Aylesbury (that's not Utd by the way a different Aylesbury).

The likes of Ashford and Hemel should also challenge depending on their squad rebuilds over the summer, but are certainally good enough names to challenge.

Think Biggleswade and a very underachieving Arlesey side last season could also be there.

But for me, I think should we keep hold of our best players and bring in 5-6 quality players there is no reason why we can't finish top as we have the structure in place from last season.

as a fan it seems most of us will be traveling a lot less to away games next season

makes sense for us to be playing the likes of Ashford and Hayes etc.

still a few fair distances to go for a few games but locations wise I'm happy with these leagues

quite a few teams we won't know much about though

Could not have worked out better for us.

Lost most of the long trips and gained quite a few more local and local(ish) derbies in Uxbridge, Bedfont, AFC Hayes, Greenford, Hemel and Ashford.

Absolutely delighted!

Feel sorry for Bromsgrove who are skint and have been put into the South and West.

Bugger nothing down this way now! Suppose it makes sense really, but would be nice to get to a game within 30 minutes of home again, and no I will not be moving back! I like the look of it really, and hope things will go our way.

To be fair ..not a bad league...plenty of local derbys ...and away travel much easier for our supporters

Interesting link here- 4,110 miles to travel for Bromsgrove Rovers next year- an average of just under 200 miles per trip! More miles than all but 3 Blue Square South sides! Ouch! Stourport no better off really.

Decent league for you guys, think it will be a good standard too with Ashford, Hemel and Rugby, the likes of yourselves, Hitchin and Burnham and promoted sides with both momentum and money (Daventry, Aylesbury).

We're off oop north duck. Was a bit worried when I scratched the surface yesterday, no Chester or Farsley accounted for, no Grays either and a couple of issues to be resolved at Southern Premier level (Strong rumours that both Merthyr and Swindon Supermarine could drop out- reprieving Hemel and Clevedon). The first two entering at Step 4 or above could have meant a switch back- but news has since broke that Chester will be Step 5 which means Sutton and ourselves will be going to the Evostik.

No doubt there will be even more ridiculous changes before the season starts!

Interestingly Merthyr missed some kind of deadline on Thursday set by the league, so when the leagues are ratified i'm guessing Hemel may well keep their place in the Premier Division after all. Don't know what that will mean - maybe a reprieve for Aylesbury United? Also seems as though Colin Payne won't go after any ex Hitchin players according to the NLP.

The NLP have reported that Merthyr have been removed from the NLS allocations, and reprieves given to Ashford Town (Mx) and Eastbourne Town.

Wonder who would fill their position in the league?

By the looks of it from what Ashford are indicating seems to be they don't want a reprieve due to the fact that if they were placed in the SPL the travelling would be horrendous and that would effect their playing budget that has already been slashed.

Not sure if the Merthyr situation will effect our league at all now as looking at it all four teams that finished in relegated positions in the Ryman Prem (all had 40+ points) have a better record than Hemel, who I guess hope for a reprieve. I got a funny feeling anyway they will just chuck Grays in the Ryman and move a couple of teams around to accomodate them.
