Not only Grays but the Chester supporters trust thought that they could go straight into the Unibond (EVO Stick) League and appear to be relegated to step 5.

Needham Market, nice one, lets just hope it's not in February!!!

Gut feeling says it'll be a tougher league this season than the one just gone.

AFC Sudbury, Brentwood, ETU, Abbey, Heybridge and W & F will all be very good opponents and a match for anyone at this level, you can even add Cheshunt to the list as they finished very well last season.

We'll need to add 3-4 quality members to the team/squad to stay ahead of the game.

Maybe - but no clear favourites like last couple of seasons. Could be tight at top and bottom. With everyone capable of beating everyone else (Not that it seems to matter any more if you come bottom in this league with no money and/or a dodgy chairman) :wtf:

What's the point of having promotion/relegation if the two clubs that finished in the two relegation places both get a let off!!??

Should promote go ahead ambitious clubs instead of always rewarding failure.

Is that how the league will end up?

Providing our fortunate reprieve sticks, don't be surprised to see us in the top group of teams. We're much more settled under our new ownership and know this division well. Looking forward to locking horns once again.

Just for that, if you're who I think you are, it's your round next time I see you ;-)

It's actually a fair point. Margate have been "relegated" twice now and are still in the prem.
