Today at Wembley

[The Invisible Man]

A minor coincidence - the Invisible Stepdaughter was at Wembley today for the Conference play-off final, and sat next to our very own Roger Reid at lunch. She assures me she said hello for me.

 

She also met Geoff Hurst and Jim Rosenthal, not nearly as exciting.

 

While I'm on, wittering irrelevent nonsense, I can confirm that my disappointment at our own play-off defeat (Invisible Young Man was there, sadly I could not get down) was tempered slighlty by Brighouse Town's promotion, at only the second attempt, into the Northern Counties East Premier Division. Pity the colours are orange shirts, black shorts............

 

Good luck to the Terriers at Millwall too.
