"friendly" with Romford

Recommended Posts

Just gone on the fans focus ryman forum and Romford are appealing for teams to play them pre season

As per usual our old "friend" Alan Fenn has had his twopenneth worth saying we should be put in our place, that's if we have a club left apparantly?

So how about it then, can the powers that be get these mugs down the bridge so we can really show them what's what.

They wouldn't bother turning up as per all their away games and then claim that hundreds were boycotting the bridge over our clubs behaviour in the 90's

I did hear the other day that on their last "home" appearance at the bridge when they groundshared with us in the 90's,their programme notes were not very complimentary about the club that had to put up with them and their aggresive behaviour. To the extent where they actually were quite rude about their hosts.

Would love to see that programme and said notes.

Don't think it has been confirmed yet,the ryman league are set to reveal who plays where on monday/tuesday

I have heard that romford could play there but not sure how much truth is in it.A school of thought is that the south is harder than the north in terms of playing levels,we definatly had more problems with teams in the south division than we ever had in the north.Ie merstham & whyteleafe etc.

The FA Leagues Committee met yesterday. They will have decided which clubs will be allocated to which leagues. They will notify promoted / relegated / moved sideways / reprieved clubs before making an official announcement, probably early next week. The leagues will then propose their own geographical splits (ie RL1N & RL1S), which will be ratified at their respective AGMs. Any clubs unhappy with their lot will have the opportunity to argue their cases at those AGMs.
