Question for Rhodse

Recommended Posts

Hey Rhodsey, you were very nearly correct on your prediction for this season. Now from your posts you have your favourite players..so if you were to pick a team, a dream team in the SSML, which players would you pick?

Amerste - Thanks but it wasn't rocket science to work out that Aylesbury would be Premier Division Champions this season before a ball was kicked in anger.

Your question will take forever and a day to answer but do you mean past and present SSML players, if it's the former then I wouldn't be able to include the likes of Craig Hammond, Lee Scott, Takumi Ake, Leon Rolle and of course Arthur Barker who I believe scored the quickest goal in SSML history for Haringey Borough against Biggleswade United at Coles Park in 2005/2006, timed at nine seconds

It was just a thought, that as you seem to know much about this league you may have a dream 11, doesn't realy matter if past or present. It would also be interesting to know if these players moved on to better things. May start a debate with other knowledgable SSML followers.

Well that excludes Loosely and Keeps then.

Well, for a start you'd have to consider right midfielder Scott Neilson, ex Hertford Town, who is now a pro with Bradford City. And ex Hertford centre forward Dave McEwen, who actually did play in the Premiership with Tottenham in 2002/3 before injury cruelly finished him as a pro.

Don't think Dave McEwen played in the SSML - wasn't that back in the days of Ryman Div Two?

OOps - you are right of course! Senility setting in.

Does anybody recall Peter Antoniades of Haringey Borough fame, this post may even tempt PetetheGreek out of hiding who must be disappointed at not being allocated a Cup Final this season
