ITS FOR CHARITY

Right peeps this is gonna sound like a pee take, but the wifes (or some of them ) want to play the husbands at a pre-season friendly game. You know when someone comes up with an idea and it rolls on, well fellas this is the plan. Before a pre-season friendly game (i.e. Chelsea or Arsenal :) ) we will play tthe wifes /friends of wifes for charity. It will be (hopefully) lighthearted and in good taste, the lads will have to be handicapped in some way (to be approved) and the winners get to play (hopefully) the legends of MFC including IOC, Mark Munday, Phil Collins etc etc. This is still in the early stages so all ideas are welcome and will be considered on merit. It is I hope gonna bring either money to the club or to some deserving charity of the "winners choice". If we do this event right then maybe we can make this a seasonal thing and perhaps entice more of the female gender to come and watch the team we all admire, hell you never know we might even start a womens side to match the likes of Charlton and Leeds :)

Due to work committments (busy - which is good) Im unfortunately going to have to pass on this as I no longer have the time and apart from "Beth Marshall" and a few others it would seem that the interest isnt really there for an event like this. I apologise to anybody who was looking forward to this but it cant be helped.
