I have to say, I'm starting to get just a little concerned. Lost out by only a couple of votes for last year's player of the season, I'm told. Regardless of the new signings, we do not want to be losing a player of his undoubted strength and ability. I understood his last game in the U.S. was a couple of weeks ago. Somebody tell me he's on holiday, please.

He'd be in my first choice midfield four. Shame really. But one would guess budget cuts are needed and JC is one of them. Whilst Oakesy's return was a nice surprise, perhaps JC was the consequence.

I agree Rob, Kettering would be much more likely, especially as his mate, Lodge, is there. On the other hand, isn't he in the middle of a 2 year contract with us?

I'm sure that he signed a two year deal at the beginning of last season when he "signed and committed his future to The Saints". Mind you. It might have been one of webbo's 'Pre-Contract Agreements'.

 

He will fit well with the new midfield signings for this season.
