Chelmo staying put! Well done Bath (Simon Thomas came on as 2nd half sub for Chelmo!)

Concord up after beating Enfield Town 3-1

Bye bye Boreham Wood, they beat Kingstonian 3-0.

Did I mention that Chelmsford lost!

How could you be so cruel, Ryan - after a season in which I at least (and I think quite a few other Clarets also), were willing your boys to avoid the drop.

Its always nice to see your neighbours do so well!! Always next season... :dance (2): :97:

On the negative side we have to pay 2 visits to C****Y next season! :492:

Im guessing we pay a visit back to Folkestone next season as they won also?

Nice to see you BC

To see me nice, Gazza!

Have paid regular visits to your forum during the course of the season, but have been reluctant to contribute, as most of your regular suspects have been doing a decent job themselves. Be interesting to see how NEXT season pans out, with your boys perhaps enjoying a "new beginning", and the Clarets knowing that the only way we're ever going to progress from the BSS is to win the bloody thing.

I wouldn't have begrudged the County Town a promotion this season. They've achieved the play-offs by doing it properly, unlike the couple of seasons where they attempted to buy themselves promotion. I rekon Canvey v. Concord next season could be a cracking fixture or two!

If the league go with the Boxing Day/New Year double header again, then we're stuck with bloody Aveley!

we could be travelling a bit further north than Aveley : :514: :

Whatever happened to Darkness?

proper jobs now ?

Bernie Ecclestone & Terry Butcher both come from Lowestoft and Michael Cane lived there for a couple of years and met his wife there. Not a lot of people know that. It's the most easterly town in the UK and was the most heavily bombed in WWII as German Bombers used it as their first identifiable target after crossing the North Sea.

Sounds more interesting than Canvey or Avely; German Bombers could have done us a favour there.

I would never have guessed that Boreham Wood would have got promoted this season and actually begrudge it given Tuckers antics at the home game.

Personally I would have liked to see Chelmsford promoted and was surprised to see them lose 3-0 in the play offs. They have a good loyal support and have played well this season.

The Cardboards promoted? Whatever happened to good old fashioned gloating at a rivals expense?

I see that Kingstonian have lodged an appeal to the Ryman League about the play-off final:

"Further to discussions with the Directors, playing staff and representatives of the Supporters Club, the Chairmen have decided that the assault by a spectator on a Kingstonian player during the play-off final yesterday had a serious effect upon the ongoing performance of the team. The club has therefore decided to lodge an appeal to the Ryman League forthwith. Club secretary Gerry Petit is in the process of notifying the league secretary."

Latest prediction for league line-up 2010/11:

Harrow Borough 3 ILPD

Horsham 3 ILPD

Hendon 3 ILPD

Kingstonian 3 ILPD

Sutton United 3 ILPD

Tooting & Mitcham United 3 ILPD

Carshalton Athletic 3 ILPD

Croydon Athletic 4 ILD1S

Cray Wanderers 3 ILPD

Hornchurch 3 ILPD

Aveley 3 ILPD

Tonbridge Angels 3 ILPD

Grays Athletic 1 Conf

Billericay Town 3 ILPD

Concord Rangers 4 ILD1N

Hastings United 3 ILPD

Canvey Island 3 ILPD

Bury Town 4 SLD1M

Maidstone United 3 ILPD

Folkestone Invicta 4 ILD1S

Margate 3 ILPD

Lowestoft Town 4 ILD1N

If so that should be a very even league next year. Why would Grays be coming down to the RPL, I have heard supporters mention this before but there has been no mention in the NLP?

Two Canvey Island clubs next year! With less money to spend amongst most clubs we need to keep our players.

I must admit i thought our neighbours would have got a result against Bath. Was the attendance a misprint ? 1650 for their biggest since...errm US !

The dream lives on...we get promoted - they stay where they are, bingo !!! A real proper derby again !! Just one prob....We need to gain promotion first, and then both sets of fans can have the stand out fixture to look out for :)
