Also will there be any pre-match singing/ partying??

 

Think I am aiming for 2pm and then think we should be out of the bar by 2.45 to get the atmosphere going and the adrenaline pumping?

I'm not sure what time I'll get there, although with the parking restrictions at the ground and the need to park further away, I think it makes sense to get there for 2.

 

After Tuesday's efforts I'm not sure I've got the lungs for pre-match noise on top of during the game, plus I'll have my boy with me too, and while I think he'll cope with noise better than he did at Hemel, he's going to be more interested in running around the place than allowing me to further wreck my voice.

 

Looking forward to it though, but with more trepidation than Tuesday. I'm much less confident of beating Chesham than I was of beating Hitchin.

I totally agree King Tut on the last point you made.

 

when travelling to the game on Tuesday night I said we would win and then lose to Chesham in the final. Crazy to think it could actually happen. I am quite nervous about the game.

A few of us are meeting in the Red Lion, Red Lion Road, Chesham. Not too far from the gprund, from 12.30 PM onwards. As for myself, I will start drinking 40% whiskey at 8 in

the morning, a few cans of Special Brew on the train plus wine for lunch so i may be seeing double by 3PM

Nervous, but well up for it. Great suggestion from Mark, although we do keep suggesting this and never do it! Let's get in behind the goal on Saturday and get behind the lads starting before the game.

If your driving to the game I would say 2pm is cutting it a bit fine. Saturday traffic and parking restrictions at the ground will inevitably lead to congestion. If possible imo 1.30 is preferable.

According to the Bucks Examiner the Chesham manager is hoping for a 1000 + gate tomorrow so be warned GET THERE EARLY!!

I'll be down the looney farm ! getting released at 1pm...

 

This season has been quite a drain on the emotions and nor sure I'll get through tomorrow ! LOL..

I opted for the coach as it's good value and I wouldn't fancy risking getting there too late.

 

I think back to the Bryco Cup final where we must have had 400-500 in a crowd of 725, and that was a weeknight. Chesham will be similarly well supported for a one-off game such as this. Throw in a considerable contingent of neutrals and I'm predicting a crowd of no less than 950, very possibly four figures.

Got myself a bottle of zamaretto which i will drink on the train and tube, then get to the Red Lion pub at 12.30. Will stay in the pub and not watch the game, as it's too much for my nerves at my age.

That means folks that Warren will be on the water in the bar, same thing happened last season, drank a whole bottle of Bailey's and then felt sick, flipping light weight !
