KENTISH TOWN last game

Recommended Posts

Loosely - The rumour that the Club was folding was in the public domain and all over the local press in Camden and Islington like a rash, I had nothing whatsoever to do with it

other than gleefully posting the link on here! And it never said "folding"

I see Kentish Town are going out with a wimper this season with a 6-1 drubbing at Hadley this afternoon, Cockfosters will no doubt have their beady eye on relegation events to ensure there is no embarrassing repeat of 2008/2009

I see that Saracens move to the Copthall Stadium is still very much on however Kentish Town are staying tight lipped about where they are going to be playing once they eventually move in:

How do you deduce that from that link? It's 5 weeks old!

I see that Saracens proposed move to the Copthall Stadium is still very much on and they have submitted a revamped planning application which probably explains why Kentish Town are no longer playing there:

I know the reason and that's not it.

Not telling though - it's much more fun seeing you desperate to know!

I know my tiny mind is. Not quite in turmoil but intrigued.

You have to admit that Kentish Town have had an innings of Botham and Tendulkar proportions at the Copthall Stadium since 2007/2008 after I spent some ten months of my life helping to secure the beleaguered Club the ground to play at following short tenures at Haringey Borough, Potters Bar Town and Hendon. I think the chickens have finally come home to roost.

Nellie - I think Tuesday's 5-0 defeat at Kings Langley was the final nail in the coffin wasn't it, did you go

Ref Off Ref - You don't know how Kentish Town operate, unlike at other Club's everything is done on a wing and a prayer and, like I said, I think the chickens are finally coming home to roost

So Rhodes how long is since you left Kentish Town?

So not quite sure you know how this Club operates really. But then again the truth has never stopped you spouting your tales.

Seems a very well organized Club.

Always enjoy officiating their games.

Yes, I smiled at Nellie's post too, talk about a faux pas saying Copthall!
