Tommy - Well that's strange as Clement was very much alive and kicking in Edmonton yesterday morning

Perhaps that nice Mr Clegg will get his amnesty on illegals as part of his deal with Cameron?

I think the expression is 'as fit as a butcher's dog' and I know exactly what you mean. When Clement was at Haringey Borough the players also commented that they had never been fitter and I think that, above anything else, helped Kentish Town to the Division 1 Championship in 2007/2008 as we were still running when other teams were on their knees weren't we

Ref Off Ref - You witnessed first hand the 6-0 mauling Kentish Town inflicted on New Bradwell St Peter that season without breaking sweat and the incredible thing was that Lee Scott didn't even get on the score sheet

Haha yes I did, thank you for reminding me for the....umpteenth time, anyway had my offspring not been injured the week before and therefore had been able to keep goal then no way would it have been a 6-0 drubbing, 5 maybe, but never 6.

Will Kentish Town's last game at the Copthall Stadium be at the end of April, according to this extract from Haringey Borough's match report last Wednesday, and attached media statement, it could well be and, if so, where would the Club continue to ply their trade until, or if, Chase Lodge Playing Fields are ready:

'Borough returned from Copthall Stadium having avoided defeat for the first time ever in what will probably be their last visit if Saracens plans for it materialise'.

But the move could prove to be a hammer blow to Kentish Town, who are likely to be most affected by the possible arrival of the professional rugby club.

Town earlier this year teamed up with youth football side Hampstead FC to buy the Chase Lodge playing fields in Mill Hill, which they hope will ultimately provide them with a permanent home.

However, with renovations still in their infancy, Town don’t anticipate moving in for at least three seasons and consequently have a rolling agreement to use Copthall that finishes at the end of each football season.

Franco Zanre, the club’s director of football, is concerned that the arrival of Saracens could leave them homeless.

“IF they [saracens] have got the money to buy Copthall then we will need to find a new home,” Zanre said.

“I can’t see them agreeing to let us stay on there. I know they are having talks with Barnet Council this week but we haven’t been informed of any outcome.

“We will not be ready to move to Chase Lodge for three years at least and if Saracens move in we will be homeless again.

“We would have to go cap in hand to try to find somewhere to play.”

I see that Saracens planning application is being considered 'as we speak', I expect that Kentish Town will get an above average attendance against Dunstable Town on 9 April with it possibly being their last game at the Copthall Stadium:
