I hope the former Manager has enough cotton wool in stock and has learned from his past mistakes

Who do you think, had the former Manager wrapped you up in cotton wool for the summer like I suggested after the Club had won Division 1 in 2007/2008 then they would have run Biggleswade Town close the following season, you and Jonathan Donoghue had developed a telepathic understanding hadn't you

I like to think so rhodes, the title winning side in my opinion would of walked the prem having we all stayed together OH WELL.

Yes and also had the former Manager not upset Hector Varela then he may well have stayed at the Club

Rhodes - Once upon a time there was a Nigerian coach who decided to fly back to his home country for a few weeks, Mr Varela took the coaching reins (not managers role). Then "The Great One" returned and fell out with Mr Varela therefore "The Great One" stated the "he could no longer work with Mr Varela" so the manager had to make a decision on which one to keep and as "The Great One" had been at the Club longer ..........the decision was made...........as for the next chapter the money invested by the Club in "The Great One" was wasted ........ and the Club learnt a valuable lesson.........and more to the point the Club lived Happily Ever After.

Nellie - Well that's all very amusing but it's funny how Clement and Hector are the best of friends now and meet on a regular basis. Anyway when Hector took the reins of the Club for three weeks when the so called 'Great One' was being interviewed for the Nigeria National Coach job vacated by Bertie Vogts Kentish Town won every game if I recall including a legendary 1-0 win over Royston Town

Hi Cliff. Its not heartbreaking news for me, as its not even news to me, I have known this for a long time! I actually communicate with my players, believe it or not =)

In fact I am more than happy for Lee to progress his career, and I have done what I can to facilitate that, and I will continue to help him with that. When I signed him I did so with the aim to get him playing regulalry and ready for a big push next season at a higher level, so I have known this from before we even signed him.

He is a player who should attempt to fullfill his potential, as if he does he is capable of playing much higher! But thats down to him and the effort he is willing to put in, only he can do that bit. =)

He is a player who should attempt to fullfill his potential,

If Lee had fulfilled his potential from the tender age of nine when Arsenal were already taking a keen interest in him then he would be plying his trade in the Premiership now or in Italy or Spain

Rhodes,

You sometimes get me all confussed..(some will say thats not hard) But not long ago on this forum you were Telling everyone He was the GREAT ONE but in this post you seem to be taking a pop at him and making out that everyone else but you thinks he is the Great One....!!!!!!! I may have looked at your post in the wrong way but i don't think i have.

So do you rate him as the Great One or not?

Looking at Kentish Town's late push in the league this season i think if they can keep most of that team together they will be up there next season. Before you say it Mr Rhodes no it was not down all to 1 player, 11 take the field with lads coming on from the bench to make it a team game.

Good luck to KTFC in the close of season with getting everything ready for the new season and i hope you all go on to prove Mr Rhodes wrong.

Love the Game - I think it may have been the way I worded the post as, rest assured, I still rate The Great One as highly as ever, if not more so, and I'm sure Lee Scott feels likewise, afterall Clement put Kentish Town Football Club on the football map from the first moment he walked through their door for example the Club were mentioned in commentary during the Israel v England European Championship Qualifier in March 2007 and were also all over the Daily Mirror like a rash on the morning of the game, what SSML Club has ever had that sort of Worldwide exposure yet they took it all for granted:

Love the Game - Clement Temile was Kentish Town for over two seasons and everything revolved around him so I'm surprised you've never heard of him as you seem to be involved with the Club in some capacity
