Unbelievable season for us in the end.... only losing 1 League game in 25 and since the 31st October is a great achievement to finish 2nd!

 

 

 

Was nice to shake the hand of the Burnham assistant last night who wished us luck and id like to say all the best to every team in the league and congratulations to Stansted who just had too much for us over the season.

Your team deserves it, a 25 match unbeaten run is incredible.

I am assuming Witham find out IF they are promoted once the FA has finalised which clubs are in each league. Who knows maybe witham will miss out on promotion due to too many other clubs from step 5 winner their leagues and having the facilties required for promotion, leaving witham in the esl for another season

Firstly congratulations to Witham that is some run to go on. Also to Stanstead on winning the league a great achievement

 

Secondly, I was speaking to Shaun the Burnham Secretary during the game on Tuesday and he said nothing will be decided on promotion or re-organisation until the beginning

of June at the earliest and that there is no guarantee that second would get promoted and that there was nothing to stop third being promoted as well if there was a number of

clubs that went out of business from say the Ryman or higher as these leagues would need to fill there constitution.

 

Whatever happens I'm sure that Burnham will come back stronger for this experience irrespective of whether players walk out or not. But it just goes to show the players commitment that they are already looking for other clubs even with a cup final still to play !!!

I think we both have been around football long enough to know there is plenty of talk but not much action and to say people are doing this or that in April when the season doesn't start till August is a bit silly I think
