Tonight's game at Hitchin

1) There are still a limited number of spaces on the supporters coach which departs Wexham Park at 5.30pm. I understand most people are driving, but I'm led to believe part of the car park at Hitchin will be closed to non-players and officials tonight, so please bear that in mind and arrive early. It goes without saying that a big crowd is anticipated.

 

2) Red shirts tonight, as Hitchin play in yellow.

 

3) Come on you Rebels!

Congratulations on the win and good luck in the final, weren't Hitchin nailed on winners of your division earlier in the season? Once again we are reminded that the season is rarely won by Xmas but extends until the last league game is played, and sometimes even beyond that!

Can I just say that tonight's performance, and Saturday's too, is precisely the reason I've been critical of so many games this season - because we are bloody capable of brilliance like tonight!!!

 

Every single one of the players was magnificent tonight. So many superb performances. How many miles did Sean Sonner run??!!! And a worthy mention also to the HUGE Rebels support this evening. Very loud for the whole 90 minutes. Just awesome.

Got to also feel for Hitchin ..getting so many points , but still having to play in the play off...yes we understand that , but the play off's have been a part of the game for years now and Hitchin

 

of course they must feel bitter,but many had all ready mentioned to me at the match their were looking forward to a trip to Truro, but the game came back to bite them on the bum !

 

We at Slough were only too happy to just to be in this league , after the few horrendous seasons..and if this happens that we do stay , then I am sure we will be extremley happy too..

 

their are no rights in Football...and I hope we go into Saturdays match with the right attitude and play a as well as we did tonight...then Slough fans will be more than happy..too..

 

The Slough support was fantastic tonight ..must have been more than 200 of us there and made a huge contribution....well done you true REBELS...
