We (St Mags Reserves) had a cracking cup semi final last night at Royston which must've been a good game for the neutrals.

 

Ended up losing 3-2 in extra time but definitely had the better of the game, case of taking our chances.

 

I think I saw The Watchfull Listener in crowd, how bad was that penalty decision for your first goal.

We (St Mags Reserves) had a cracking cup semi final last night at Royston which must've been a good game for the neutrals.

 

Ended up losing 3-2 in extra time but definitely had the better of the game, case of taking our chances.

It was a great game to watch for a neutral and a heart stopping one for anyone who was not...Thats twice in a space of 2 weeks that we have out played Royston and lost.

 

It was a good 120mins from NF showed alot of young players up with his box to box runs, even though the did take a while to complete.

 

I guess thats the price you pay for not taking our early changes, a penalty that never was, a disallowed goal that was and a couple of players staying on the pitch cause the Ref and Linesman lost their bottle...Plus a bit of good goalkeeping by the Royston keeper who i think is a great keeper, also thick goal posts as we seemed to keep hitting them, also 2 cleared off the line.

 

Next Tuesday has to be the Turn of Bury Reserves...Sad to be missing the game so good luck to the Bury boys.
