Would it be worth opening the club for the FA Cup final,it was open a couple of years ago but not many turned up as it was left until a couple of days before the final to let people know.perhaps we could have a BBQ and make it a family day??) any thoughts anyone???

possibly for the England games only.

one reason as theres not many pubs around now that have football matches being shown.

For this reason if it was advertised, people might come down to watch the games.

 

The following pubs in upminster about 1 will defo be showing football.

Huntsman, has 1 tv, but probably wont show the football

I think it would be worth opening for the cup final but only if it was decided in the next few days,you are right about the pubs in upminster,only the yeoman officially shows football although the optomist and crumpled sometimes show finals but not often

Not sure that Chelsea v Pompey will attract that many people.

Could be the most 1 sided final since the Man U v Millwall one.

If you do manage to arrange this, we must try and keep people there.

Perhaps an happy hour after the game and bar food.

I think a BBQ would attact good numbers down,it's a nice enough setting and I am sure a few people would turn up,maybe get a couple of local bands to come down and play a big of music etc

I noticed that the champions league final is on a saturday,i think it would also be a good idea to arrange something for this date
