Monday's game

Returning Royal

Recommended Posts

Well, what a cracking season, well done to all those involved and fingers crossed for tonight.

Call me a part time supporter but what an interesting 'first game' of the season.

My two games last year were the Didcot play-off and the B&Bs Cup final so I only hope I don't

jinx this season.

One minor gripe, with the importance of tonights game it's shame the website isn't updated.

Gotta to try and catch the casual supporter, an average of 164 after such an eventful season

is.... erm.... poor to say the least. Anyway perhaps another day to discuss Windsor's attendances.

In the meantime COME ON WINDSOR !!!

Indeed a great season, ups and downs, only ever two teams in it to be fair and to come down to teh game being played after the season ends, as it were, is just the cherry on the very dramatic cake that has been our season so far. Can we take that final step and prove we are worthy champions, lets hope so.

Interesting you say about crowd size, we have had a decent average crowd size compared to other teams in our league (only six bigger) and that is without a real local derby of the likes of Slough. Again our lowest crowd is 110, only six teams have a higher lowest crowd, where we lose is out is on the highest crowds, quite a few teams have local rivals that will bring in the 500+ crowds, we really don't. Tonight should be our biggest crowd of the season, 300+ i would hope. Maybe one forgets exactly what level Windsor are playing at?

Well, Returning Royal, if you can bring the luck you brought to teh cup final with you then you are very very welcome to make this your first game of the season, and hopefully see you for many more next year in the Premier (fingers crossed!!)

Just looking at he league it will be interesting to see if it will be the team that won the most games, or lost the least games that wins the league. I remember Mrs Cat saying they believe the team that loses teh least games will win the league. We have conceded 16 less goals yet they have scored 22 more, a more exciting finish you couldn't ask for, and the league must be thrilled to see two very tight title races in the Midlands and S&W divisions. The top four teams in those two divisions have shared 400 points, that is pretty impressive!!

I'm looking forward to tonight's game and hopefully will drag a few mates along also. I'm not a regular to Stag Meadow, but this season have taken in about 8 games, including a few away trips to Hayes and Evesham for the cup game, (it was close to my home town and I was in the area that weekend). I think tonight's game will all be about belief and patience! Windsor win for me, the prize at stake will be the motivator!
